1. About Us

The Fad Lad ("TFL", "we", "us", "our") is a small business based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, established in March 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your purchase of any products from us.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website.

3. Nature of Our Products

All products sold by TFL are handmade and, unless otherwise stated in the product description, are one-of-a-kind pieces made from upcycled materials. As a result:

• Minor variations in colour, texture, stitching, and finish are natural and expected, and do not constitute a defect.
• Approximately 90% of the materials used are upcycled; hardware components (such as chains, hooks, clasps, and similar fittings) are new.
• Once a one-of-a-kind piece is sold, it cannot be remade or restocked in the exact same form.

4. Orders and Payment

• All orders are subject to availability, given the handmade and one-of-a-kind nature of our stock.
• Your order total is shown at checkout. All orders are prepaid through our payment gateway.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.

5. Custom Orders

• Custom orders are currently accepted only for sew-on, hand-painted patches. Custom orders for any other product category are not currently open.
• Custom order requests, timelines, and pricing are confirmed individually via email at taklu@thefadlad before work begins.
• Once a custom order is confirmed and work has commenced, it may not be eligible for cancellation. [Confirm your custom-order cancellation policy before publishing.]

6. Shipping

• We currently ship within India only (PAN India). International shipping is not available at this time.
• Estimated delivery timelines will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.

7. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Given the handmade and one-of-a-kind nature of our products, returns and exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at taklu@thefadlad within 10 days of delivery if you have an issue with your order.

8. Care of Products

A care card is included with every order, with care instructions also available on the website. TFL is not responsible for damage resulting from failure to follow provided care instructions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to the TFL name, logo, the character Taklu, product photography, and written content, is the property of The Fad Lad and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TFL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our products.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
